Liberate Your Body and Stretch Your Mind

While we may marvel at our expanding universe and the latest scientific discoveries, many of us forget to bring that same sense of wonder to our everyday lives.

With plenty of poetry, good humor, and crazy wisdom, Buddhist teacher Wes “Scoop” Nisker and yoga and Buddhist teacher Katchie Ananda, E-RYT 500, take you on an exploration of the dharma (Buddhist teachings) and yoga practice and philosophy to show you how to bring that sense of awe into every part of your life.

Through talks, discussions, yoga, and mindfulness meditation, you will:

  • Learn about the evolutionary origin of your body and emotions
  • Examine traditional Buddhist perspectives on the self, reality, death, and dying
  • Explore the tricky delusions of mind and the mystery of consciousness itself
  • Discover the latest from evolutionary biology and psychology to support your meditation practice

As you learn to feel and see the world in a new way, supported by new science and old traditions, you will find a new delight in being alive. No previous experience with yoga or Buddhism is necessary—all are welcome.
